Design and construction of all the facilities at Cheghcheran Airport in Ghor Province, Afghanistan. The work included design/build of a 2KM Asphalt Runway, Asphalt Taxiway, Concrete Apron, Vehicle Parking, Adjoining Roadways and Airport access Road, Drainage Network and Utilities. It also included the design and construction of a passenger terminal building, fire station, air traffic control tower, maintenance and staff housing buildings. FCC was also responsible for ensuring that there was a surface for NATO aircraft to land on and take off from during the course of the project.
