The project involved the design and construction of 2.5 Km Asphalt Runway, Taxiway, Apron, Connecting Roads, Vehicle Parking and Drainage Structures for Khost International Airport. The Airport was designed for handling large airliners and will serve as the transport hub for South-Eastern Afghanistan. The project was challenging given that it included more than 3 Million cubic meters of earthworks and more than 50 Thousand Cubic meter of asphalt pavement was laid.
